# 16 Raiders of the lost Ark (7 out of 10)

Indiana jones is considered an American classic directed by one of the most famous directors in Hollywood today, Steven Spielberg. I enjoyed the movie because it gives you an adrenaline rush and an original story. Though it was made in the early 80’s Indiana Jones shows you how American filmmaking was at its peak. The main fact that you should know is that two brilliant minds worked on Indiana jones, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. These two directors and writers are known worldwide to this date and have made extrodanary films so people who are skeptical of this movie should at least watch it once and then judge the film.

I was personally expecting too much out of this film. So after viewing it for the first time i was kind of disappointed. Then again viewing at the date of production in the early 80's I knew that technology was not at its peak compared to modern time. I overall thoght that the movie was outstanding for its cast and very heroic story. The cast won many awards for their outstanding performances and the movie did trmendously well all over the world. In the end I enjoyed viewing an american classic that is known worldwide and i hope to view the whole series soon.

#15 Never Back Down

Never back Down was a disappointment just by viewing its trailer. First if all the directors of this film tried way too hard to make this an epic movie because it seemed the story line would never stop. Also the story wasn’t original or unique. There was nothing ever interesting that would give the movie its boost or keep its viewer interested. The selection of music was horrible to back up its film. They would use poor choices of different genres of music. It was so unprofessional because it was trying to catch the new generation of teenagers but ended up embarrassing themselves.

The selection of cast in the film were decent because they weren’t well known and I don’t blame them for starring in the movie, but I’m mainly disappointed in Djimon Hounsou because he is such a well known actor and won major awards, such as blood diamond. The setting for the movie was surprisingly unique because Florida is mainly known for Miami but giving it a rich background fit its film. The action choreography if the movie was really well done just like watching any m.m.a program or match. The fight sequences were brutal and really well done because it showed counters and submission moves used by professional fighters.

Overall this movie wasn’t worth watching because it was poorly written and there was more like a music video play list than a movie for all its selection in music. I wont see it again and ever plan on seeing it.

#14 Walle (9 out of 10)

Walle is a G-rated film by pixar animation that is really interesting. The story is about a lonesome robot who lives on an overpolluted earth and was left there to clean it all up. Though its a G-rated film, this movie will catch adults attention for its prediction towards how we will be like in the future. Pixar animations have outstandingly done it again. The movie brought comedy without the use of dialogue. Which is really rare to see in movies.

I’ve always enjoyed pixar films ever since I was a child and viewing Walle as a teen, I have favored him because of the innocence and clumsiness of his actions. Also because pixars animation has always pushed technology effects to its limits and it well showed it to the film. This movie also gives a story and a view to adults as never shown before in previous kid movies. I think the story was excellent because in todays technology people are starting to do less and technology is taking over everything we use to do by hand.

Overall I really enjoyed the movie, Walle is a new addition to my favorite characters in Disney and pixar  animations. The movie pulled of oscar nominees and sever other awards without the use of dialogue and mainly used symbolism. I think Walle deserved all its rewards and the writers should really be proud of themselves this movie brought more than just another movie for children it was also viewed by all people.

# 10 The Bourne Identity (9 out of 10)

the Bourne Identity is the first part of its three part series. The movie stares about a secret CIA agent who ends up on the ocean and figures out the reason he ended up there in the first place. I thought the intro was excellent to its story. Not many movies show the story from its ending and start again to make an intro again with a different ending. The story was throwing me off a little bit but in the end the story was good, nothing to brag. The action sequences were done with outstanding achievements. this movie had everything action fanatics would love from, martial arts, Gun fights, and car chases. The movie kept the pace fast and it made you wonder whats gonna pop out next or where is the ambush.

Matt Damon was the perfect actor, and thats why he continued with a three part movies. his performance was overall excellent with spectacular martial arts choreagraphy. Franka Potenta role was unnecassary in the film. Maybe they used her just so main character can have a little romance affair but it was worst role she could have got in the movie. She was just the damsell in distress, no more no less.

The setting through europe was alright. I like that he just ended up in Italy out of nowhere because it makes you think what happened and what was his actions that made him end up there but thats all i really like about it. The setting also helped how he was a felony on the run because if there are people looking for you half way around the world he must have tragic actions.

#13 Comparison Superheros

Iron man and The Dark knight were both released the same year and both movies brought gave fans what they wanted and were pleased. Although The Dark knight won more rewards and favored the most. Both movies were great but Im going to choose the dark knight. In comparison the dark knight is a sequel so movie viewers who saw the first one would obviously see the sequel, while Iron Man was the start of its story. The Dark night had a deeper story and the cast is Oscar nominated. For example Heath Ledgers performance is at its peak with him acting as the joker but for the tragic cause of his life.

The movie also brought up constantly advertisements on television and several other companies. With out a doubt the id prefer the dark night for its cast, for being one of the most excellent superhero epic movies ever made and for more to come.

#12 Iron Man (8 out of 10)

The movie Iron Man, based on marvel comic’s superhero, a movie as quoted to be as well reviewed as the Transformers movie. In my opinion the Iron Man brought big Numbers to the box office for being a superhero epic movie. Robert Downey Jr. starred as the main character as well as an outstanding supporting cast like Terrance Howard, Jeff Bridges etc. Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark. He showed his character with humorous dialogue and very assertive whenever needed to be. The movie overall was nominated against other epic movies such as the dark knight and the curious case of Benjamin button, but in my opinion the film lost respectively and had tough competition but in the end it deserved its share of awards.

The setting for the movie was the city of angels, Los Angeles. The setting was perfect for a snoppy, cocky millionaire Tony Stark. It was a good change because marvel comics always start their characters small in a big city so they seem like average people like any other human being. The setting is realistic because It showed real places like its very luxurious homes, the high business class and skyscraper buildings. The movie showed all these things and its beaches and night view of the city.

The effects of this movie were nominated in several awards and won most of them. This was no surprise it showed very high quality technology and gave its action a dramatic boost in the movie. Its effects to give Stark an artificial heart and an exoskeleton power war suit blew me away. I look forward to seeing its sequel this year.

#11 The Dark Knight (10 out of 10)

The Dark Knight is the sequel to Batman Begins, which was nominated for an Oscar, so my expectations for its sequel were high and expected more action and a deeper story line. The movie starts out great and introduces Gotham city’s new villain, acted by heath ledger, the joker. Heath Ledger showed the joker with marvelous detail and fans of DC Comics a lot of people were pleased with his role in the sequel. The plot of the movie was preceded by the first movie so fans of Batman would see the same cast and would introduce some new cast as well. The main character, Christian Bale, shows his best work in his years while working in Hollywood. The role perfectly suited him to play as head of a multibillion-dollar company and a vigilante at knight. I was surprised that in a small period of time he went from average making movies and then later he stared as one of the worlds best known heroes from DC Comics and worked with Oscar nominated Heathe Ledger to make one of the Best superhero movies in years.

The setting of the movie, Gotham City, showed a corrupted world run over with thugs and crime mobs. They made Gotham look and gave it a feel like exactly it would as described in the comics. The place would be as dark as a pit and the show little crimes as an average night in the city. The setting gave it a perfect background for all its villains in the movie, and that’s including its first movie.
